Preparation of work breakdown structure, scheduling of work and execution of project.
Establishing close liaison and coordinating with subcontracto rs for timely completion of projects with in
strict quality standards.
Assessment of material state of warship structure, onboard equipments and preparation of maintenance
schedules.
Monitoring on-site activities and final execution of projects within the time and cost parameters.
Planning, forecasting and sourcing of equipments and spares to ensure sustained operations and minimal
down time.
Managing construction projects from the conceptualization stage to execu tion; involving finalization of
technical specifications, scheduling, progress monitoring, site management, manpower planning with
Military Engineer service (MES).
Participate in project review meetings for tracking project progress & de -bottlenecking & implementation of
QA / QC procedures as per norms and standards.

2011- Till date Staff Officer Administration (Project Seabird) INS Kadamba: A challenging career in which
undertook planning, forecasting and execution of various projects in the upcoming new naval base 'Project Sea
Bird' at Karwar.
2010-2011 Staff Officer ( Admin & Operations) INS Chilka & Naval Officer in Charge Orissa: As Operations
Officer for Naval officer in Charge (Orissa) planned, coordinated with state level and Para military agencies,
monitored and executed strategic plans for Coastal security along the Coast of Orissa. Officer In Charge
(Administration) to plan and coordinate day to day activities of 2400 raw recruits at Naval Basic training school.
2007-2009 Training Officer INS Tir (Cadets Training Ship): Planned, coordinated, monitored and assessed
training of 600 officer cadets from National Defence Academy and Naval academy. As Training coordinator
involved in planning and execution of course activities which include imparting of professional kn owledge,
development of communication skills and team dynamics to transform young cadets to future officers of Indian
Navy.
2005-2006 Warfare Officer INS Ratnagiri (Inshore Minesweeper) : Responsible for safe navigation and
optimum utilisation of weapons onboard ship. During this appointment learnt the skills of team management,
optimal utilisation of weapons and provided complete responsibility for every member of my team and the
performance of the ship.
2004-2005 Amphibious Officer, INS Gharial (Landing Ship Tank): Amphibious officer is responsible for
landing of ships tanks and material safely to the enemy area .This appointment helps to understand the
dynamics of an organisation as a whole. This was also an excellent lesson in man and resource managem ent.
2002-2003 Watch keeping Officer INS Ranvir (Destroyer Class): Second appointment on board a destroyer
learned and put to practice lessons in organisational behaviour, human resource management and scheduling
and execution of tasks.
2001 2002 Bridge watch Keeping Officer INS Viraat(Aircraft Carrier): As a young officer during the initial
days of naval career shouldered responsibility and safety of the mighty ship at sea and harbour.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMNETS
Efficiently planned and completed the Structural repair and fabrication works of frontline frigates,
amphibious ships with in strict deadlines.
Training officer for cadets from NDA and Naval academy, active involvement in plan ning and execution
of course activities to transform the young cadets to future officers of Indian Navy.
Officer in charge of amphibious task force undertook various amphibious operations along the coast
with various units from Army and Air force.
As works officer undertook planning forecasting and implementation of various projects. Memorable
being construction of Unit run canteen for the unit.
As the chief administrative officer, effectively motivated team of 100 personnel to perform under
extremely stressful conditions which resulted in winning the most spirited trophy for the ship.
Represented Indian Navy at unit level in Sports such as Basketball, Boat pulling and swimming.
Team leader of a 200 men group onboard various frontline warship and carried out various exercises
and evolutions with foreign navies such as Oman, Singapore and German Naval war ships.
