During my tenure here, I have worked with the RVD (Request for Volume Discount) team as well as the IT Service Desk. The RVD project has a hands-on approach as it involves face to face interaction with clients to provide them with new computers and peripherals. I would prepare the computers to fit each client's needs which would include upgrading RAM, hard drives, etc., as well as installing and configuring applications, For the last six mnths of my tenure, I worked with the IT Service Desk on a casual contract. This involved answering phones and replying to emails to resolved problems or handle any requests a client may have had.

The daily operations of the warehouse that I was involved in were bill paying, monitoring freight charges, arranging building up-keep, customer service and supervising a small staff. Other tasks included but were not limited to shipping, receiving, picking orders and assisting in any miscellaneous duties around the warehouse including training of new employees

Some of the projects I have had the opportunity to work on have included: foundation construction, setting scaffolding for concrete slabs, wood framing, siding, soffits, installation of windows and doors, as well as many laboring duties. This job provided me with a strong work ethic that I continue to carry with me.

"Emergencies have always been necessary to progress. It was darkness which produced the lamp. It was fog that produced the compass. It was hunger that drove us to exploration. And it took a depression to teach us the real value of a job." -
