minutes of the South Jersey Shore. The golf course is spread out over 350 acres and features 40
acres of water hazards that come into play on 11 out of the 18 holes. It features Bentgrass / Poa
annua greens, tees and fairways. Stone Harbor Golf Club supports 25,000 rounds per year.
Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the golf course.
Maintain course playing conditions consistent with the expectations of the membership.
Conduct annual performance reviews with all employees.
Formulated and implemented a pesticide and fertility program for the golf course which resulted
in a $20,000 savings.
Implemented turfgrass tissue testing program for the putting greens through a turfgrass consulting.

1 8-hole private country club, designed by William F. Gordon and established in 1963, has long
enjoyed the reputation of being one of the most challenging courses in the Delaware Valley. It
features Bentgrass / Poa annua greens, tees and fairways. Medford Village Country Club supports
25,000 rounds per year.
Oversaw and assisted in the installation of a full course irrigation system upgrade that was tied into
the existing irrigation system to reduce overall cost by $200,000.
Successfully completed total course bunker renovation project consisting of reshaping, new drainage,
bunker liner and sand.
Managed and oversaw the installation of XGD drainage (existing greens drainage) on 5 putting greens
to increase plant health and firmness of the putting surface

A 36-hole, world-class bay side resort with a 300-room hotel situated on 670 acres of pristine
pinelands in southern New Jersey. An annual host to the LPGA ShopRite Classic (Bay Course) and
host of the 1942 PGA Championship (Composite of Pines/Bay Courses). It features Bentgrass/ Poa an-
nua greens, tees, and fairways. Seaview Resort supports 55,000 rounds a year.
Devised fertilizer and chemical program which resulted in more consistent playing conditions and
reduced chemical and fertilizer budget line item by $25,000.
Initiated and completed a program to achieve certification in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary
Program for Golf Courses, becoming only one of 23 facilities in the State to achieve certification.
Developed and documented Standard Operating Procedures for the orderly and consistent
maintenance of the golf course
Reviewed and altered basic management practices on the golf course, which resulted in an increase
in productivity by 10%.
Designed and executed in-house irrigation upgrade for the green surround irrigation.
Created and promoted community involvement with helping protect a species of special concern
on the Bay Course, in which local newspapers and NBC television affiliate covered the process and
promoted the facilities commitment to the community with regards to environmental protection.
Developed and managed a successful internship program for students studying Turfgrass
Management; was able to help place two interns in Assistant Superintendent positions after
the completion of their internship
Implemented an aggressive removal of approximately 1500 trees and pruning program to increase
turf quality and improve playability of the Pines Course
