sequential translation motion and spike press driving motion.

Design Analysis of Spinal System 2011

The spinal system is used to treat Scoliosis. The objective of this analysis is to determine metal -metal fretting

losses when exposed to cyclic loading in all three patterns (one at a time).

Designed SolidWorks CAD model of the unit; took part dimensions measurement and deciphered

mechanisms.

Determined metal metal contact points (fretting zones).

Design and Fabrication of Mediclock 2009

Designed and fabricated alarm enabled Medicine box from start to finish concept to completion.

Consolidated Product Requirements f rom extensive market survey and analysis.

Established design concepts and prototypes f or complex mechanisms.

Generated 3D CAD-drawings of complex medical-grade plastic components and assembly using ProE.

Made Prototype using Rapid Prototyping machine to highlight design and manufacturability problems.

Re-design Coffee Maker 2009

Used DFX (DFM/DFA) techniques to re-design complex plastic parts and assembly f or high volume

production of Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker.

Used principles of Value Addition / Value Engineering to cut costs and provide better functionalities.

Implemented product design changes to reduce costs and improve safety and performance.

Used QFD diagram to analyze customer needs.

Performed form to function mapping; Used FAST and SOP techniques to decompose functionality.

Identified materials and processes used in manufacturing the product.
