Tutor and Assessment Coordinator, West Lowndes Elementary/Middle School - Columbus, MS, August 2010-Present.
Duties: Comply with Federal Assurance Regulations, laws, policies using the Consolidated Federal Programs Monitoring Instrument for both schools and make sure documents are completed by the deadline date. Conduct spring planning meetings and analyze Needs Assessment Surveys required by LEA. Also, write a summary of the Needs Assessment Surveys results. Analyze academic data to evaluate school goals and write new goals as well as developing the School-Wide Plan. Manage federal inventory, purchase orders, timesheets of federally paid employees. Supervise federally funded supplemental programs and employees. Coordinate and develop tutoring programs that provide individualized interventions for low performing students based on current research. Develop instruments that organize and analyze data in the tutoring programs. Identify students each nine-week period who are in need of remediation and coordinate services for students with primary teachers, and tutors. Write summary evaluation reports for tutoring programs at the end of each nine-week period with supported graphs. Coordinates federally funded consultants such as the Aha! Process, JBHM Education Group, and the Bailey Education Group to ensure effective instructional strategies are presented during each visit.
