Sites Supervisor / Captain Hub Enterprises, Inc., Broussard, LA 2006 to date

Hired in a chaotic, post-Katrina environment when security was seriously at-risk.

Due to prior nationwide experience with Asset Protection Team, progressed rapidly from Special Response Officer to Lieutenant to Captain.

In charge of 6 Homeland Security Sites for Chevron pipeline facilities in 3 locations (Buras, Boothville, and Venice, LA); also serve as House Manager for 15 elite security personnel working & residing on-site. Realm of responsibilities includes:

Ensure all personnel has proper security equipment and supplies; oversee facility maintenance.

Person-in-charge of handling medical needs and emergency transport to hospitals; complete all follow-up reports for chain of command.

Ensure all contractors are properly processed in accordance with Chevron rules and regulations.

Perform random access checks of all contractors on the premises and classified areas; conduct personnel, vehicle and property searches. Examine validity of TWIC cards & passports.

Personally train new security personnel in physical & logical access control; suspected security breaches; protection services & perimeter defense; equipment use; profile management of employees, contractors & visitors; report writing & chain of command protocol.

Monitor job performance & professionalism of security personnel; schedule day & night shifts; maintain order against workplace violence; direct on-site traffic;

Coordinate emergency response activities and delegate authority to Special Response Officers during times of crisis (i.e., major storms and 2010 BP oil spill in the GOM).

Constantly update database information in Chevron's specialized computer system regarding clearance, access and investigative status of personnel requesting security clearances; maintain current training modules; and complete daily shift reports and incident reports.

Conduct interviews & investigations into faked injuries, theft of assets, workplace accidents, sexual and racial harassment, etc.

Ensured that a newly-installed computer parking program (to track tags / plates of all contractors) was freed of long-standing "bugs", thereby personally saving Hub Enterprise's contract w/Chevron.

Implemented and enforced evacuation plans during major storms and hurricanes (Rita, Gustav, Ike, and Isaac); assigned personnel to secure facilities and equipment.
