Security Coordinator

Function as Security Coordinator coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for organization. Ensure programs are effective and identifies the need for additional resources such as an increase number of security guards at a particular location or within an organization or business. Worked at a variety of locations ranging from corporate office to residential buildings, hospitals, and there municipal building or entertainment venues. Oversee functions within these organizations and their profession is much more common in metropolitan areas. Security Coordinator is expected to have a bachelors degree in addition to two to four years experience in a security capacity. Security Coordinator are afforded more latitude in decision making then other security professionals and therefore need the judgment that come with most security jobs. Coordinates, implements and ensures that proper industrial security procedures are followed in accordance with the National Industrial Security (NISPOM) and companys Stand Practice Procedures (SPP). Prepares and maintains detailed records pertaining to control of classified matter, safes, keys, personnel clearances, badges, etc. Monitors and conducts security briefings and security education programs.
