challenging projects that went well beyond a painting a house type of service

project.

President of the Board, North Puget Sound Operation Improvement (1983-85).

This organization works with welfare recipients to arrange back-to-work training for

specific jobs targeted by local businesses. Goal: Turn tax consumers back into tax

payers, and help provide the dignity of work for former welfare recipients.
