Responsible for employee and labor relations (USW) for (800) employees at the Cooper Bessemer Reciprocating Products Division, as well as all hourly professional recruiting, compensation (Hay), benefits administration, training

and development and contract negioiatioions. (5) direct reports. Company downsized by (400) employees in 6-months.

Developed background research for USW union negotiations.

Exempt and Non-exempt Compensation Surveys and fringe benefit cost analysis.

Recruited over (60) exempt, non-exempt, and hourly personnel.

Developed technical and supervisory training programs.

Downsized operation by laying off over 400 production employees. Division and plant closed as of 1998.

Special Assignment. Responsible for sales & marketing in the state of Virginia, reporting to VP Sales.

Negotiated contract for six (6) new galleries totaling 45,000 square feet.

Opened new galleries totaling 9,000 square feet, and expanded four existing galleries.

Conducted Market Research of territory to determine the best distribution.
