My name is Conor Tarbell and I am applying for the position of environmental scientist. I am 22 years old with a determined work ethic. I have graduated from the State University College at Oneonta in December of 2012 with my bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I can begin work immediately. I am willing to take a lesser salary than most initially as I am confident that you will see how useful I am to the group and my determination; I will excel from there.

My undergraduate course load has given me experience in both sciences and the politics behind those sciences. I changed my major from Criminal Justice to Environmental Science in my sophomore year and ever since then I have been determined to turn this new interest into a career. I have never worked a job where I wasn't promoted at some point during my employment. I believe my experience with GPS, remote sensing, species identification and basic CAD knowledge will prove to be very useful to your group. Thank you for your time and consideration.
