Paul Frankenberg is President, C.E.O., and Founder of FOCUS Search Partners, LLC, a nationally recognized “Top 25 Retained Healthcare Executive Search Firm. Focus Search specializes in recruiting high-impact healthcare executives to lead publicly traded and privately held growth companies. The Firm is based in Nashville, TN, with additional locations in Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, and Denver, CO.

Focused on serving the portfolio companies within healthcare venture capital, private equity and leverage buyout firms, Paul has personally completed more than 300 Corporate Board, Executive and Senior Management search assignments during his fifteen-year career. Paul earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee and his MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He began his search career with a top ten executive search firm in Atlanta, GA.

Paul is on Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management Alumni Board and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University Board. Paul is a published writer and is often an invited guest speaker and panelist on leadership, executive development and career-related topics.

Ethan Dunham is the Director of Organizational Development for Cogent HMG in Brentwood, TN, the industry leader in developing and managing hospital medicine programs. Ethan pursued his current position at Cogent HMG because of the company’s mission and its progressive stance on organizational and leadership development.

In addition to Ethan s position at Cogent HMG, he is a visiting lecturer in Human & Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University, which affords him fresh, first-hand knowledge of the needs of impending graduates.

Ethan is personally and professionally committed to individual and career development. An educator who has studied and contributed to leadership development for over 10 years, Ethan gained valuable classroom experience as a teacher in Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, while also working with nationally-respected education leaders on a broad range of research projects, curriculum design efforts, and policy development initiatives.

Fascination with the intersection of leadership, education, and business drove Ethan to pursue a unique, dual-degree graduate school experience. In 2007, he earned a Master’s Degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, earning highest honors as Class Marshal of the School Leadership Program. In 2009, he earned an M.B.A. with honors from Vanderbilt University s Owen Graduate School of Management. During both graduate programs, Ethan involved himself with leadership development programs, community projects and organizations ranging from local charter schools to a Fortune 100 healthcare company in an effort to understand the skills necessary to succeed across industries. Ethan is currently serving the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Middle Tennessee as President of the Young Leaders Board.

Ethan lives with his family in Nashville, TN.
