Supervisor of Loss Prevention / Security
Responsible for multiple sites including Aurora St Luke`s Medical Center, Aurora St Luke`s South Shore, Forest Home Business Office, Heil Center / Aurora Medical Group Executive Offices, Aurora Credit Union and all parking facilities attached to the properties. Duties included overseeing uniformed staff of 35 Security Officers and Sergeants.
* Conducted investigations including: theft, fraud, identity theft, entity theft, narcotics fraud, credit card / Tyme card theft & use, policy violations, risk issues (slip and fall), and safety issues including OSHA complaints. Specific accomplishments include:
* Court appointed Officer on two cases, resulting in felony convictions.
* Successfully worked with District Attorney`s office investigating, charging and prosecuting contractor for $2 million in equipment.
* Conducted narcotics fraud investigation in conjunction with District Attorney`s office in multiple counties. Worked with Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement agencies. Case resulted in conviction of 70+ persons on felony charges and several Federal charges and convictions.
* Managed daily operations including Valet service (250,000 cars per year).
* Scheduled and coordinated with Sergeants to ensure proper staffing levels, approving off time / vacation time.
* Performed administrative reviews of service issues to investigate and resolve customer complaints, doctor complaints, service recovery remediation and threat assessments.
* Managed Risk Management assessments including: slip and fall investigations, OSHA complaints / issues, follow up and reporting, recommendations and documentation.
* Completed incident report filing and review; included use of force reviews including baton, handcuffing and pepper spray as well as Court testimony.
* Trained new staff and developed personnel to become leaders.
* Provided emergency management including recovery and public relations.
* Responded to Access Control (card reader) intrusion, panic alarms and duress alarms.
