Co-authored If It Doesn't Spread It's Dead: Creating Value in a Spreadable Marketplace with and Xiaochang Li, an in depth analysis of the current media landscape, focusing specifically on audience-driven circulation of content. Studied audience participation as a site of value and the interaction of symbolic and monetary currencies through an ethnography of music fans in Brazil. Resulted in a white paper for the Consortium and her master s thesis. Wrote regularly for the C3 participated in the organization of conferences. The consortium connects researchers with companies (such as Turner, MTV and Yahoo) working towards generating new strategies for doing business in a converging media environment.

Designed project and raised funds with program director, Maria Lourdes Cortes. Overall, raised $500,000 between 2003 and 2007. Was in charge of its operations and promotion, this included managing personnel, project analysis and supervision, jury selection, workshop organization, international film promotion, and management tasks. Worked closely with partners: HIVOS, Ford Foundation and Buena Onda Films. was the first fund available to Central American productions. Produced various projects, including the album Quiero que sepas, the Papaya Orchestra's Central American Tour and the --an eclectic Central American music festival with over 70 musicians and 10,000 people in attendance.
