Blueprint reading and welding symbols, introduced to fabrication techniques, maintained strict performance, quality and production standards. SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) or stick welding, GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) or MIG welding with short circuit transfer and spray transfer, and FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) welding with gas shielded and self shielded wires. CAC-A (Air Carbon Arc Cutting) or air arc and arc gouging, PAC (Plasma Cutting) and OFC (Oxy-Fuel Flame Cutting) or Oxyacetylene Cutting manually and machine operated with a track torch. Skilled in the use of a variety of power tools and metal fabrication equipment including: drills, drill press, brake, power saws, shears, and grinders. Lifted/carried product weighing 50-75 pounds repeatedly over a 12 hour work period. Walked and stood most of the time during the 12 hour shift also stooped, crawled and crouched around conveyors and/or around production equipment. Operated and monitored equipment/line, removed and shifted materials finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation. Ensured product quality.
