systems, Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems, and external shared storage
systems. Interoperability system tests focusing on accuracy of control commands and
reporting of tally information; verification of Serial and network control over IP networks,
passing of mnemonic information over IP, SNMP trap reporting and status monitoring.
Machine and crosspoint control commands delivered from a video Multi-viewer, router,
Switcher, and automation control devices over an IP Network, while monitoring network
congestion and traffic. Accuracy across all equipment needs to be verified and validated
including user Interface accuracy, operational quality, and ease of use. Verifying Set-up
time, command time, and functional response time to required specifications while
verifying quality and accuracy.
Designing, updating, and maintaining a customer simulated environment, with a
customer focused team providing real-time feedback to management and product
marketing teams by running operational tests, talking with customers and users, and
answering questions like: What other products do our customers expect our equipment
to work with and how accurate is their performance
I run systems tests with some of
these 3rd party products to measure their interop performance with Grass Valley
equipment. Can we learn from those expected relationships and make our product more
robust, complete, and more appealing to customers when developing next generation
products
