Objective I have aspirations in becoming a high school or middle school teacher, and spreading my

knowledge of the Social Sciences to students. I would like to gain a middle school or high

school teaching position, where I plan to help students understand the world in which they live

in.

Education Currently pursuing a B.A. in Comprehensive Social Sciences with a History emphasis and a

Secondary Education Licensure at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I plan to graduate in

December of 2012.

Teaching Experience

-I have observed Middle School and High School students in the Mineral Point School District.

-I have observed special education classes at Platteville High School.

-January 16th to the 28th 2010 I spent time in Mississippi helping the unfortunate people of these

neighborhoods. I helped a local elementary school tutor students, and was active in after school

activities. Specifically I worked with a 6th grade social studies class in my time in Johnstown

Mississippi. (80 Hours)

Other Work Experience

KC s Inflatables-General Staff (Summers 2009-2010) I was in charge of setting up and taking

down inflatable rides for children.

UTI - -General Staff (Summers 2007-2011) I was responsible for loading and unloading trucks,

special handling of products, and inbounding products into the warehouse.

Professional Goals

-I would like to have a professional relationship with the community that decides to employ me.

-I would like to facilitate students in their learning and understanding of the world they live in.

-I would like my students to be able to draw connections between the different social sciences.

-I would like to work collaboratively with other educators to bring forward the best learning

environment for my students.

-I would like to be a leader not only in the classroom, but also within extra-curricular activities

throughout the school and community.
