Summary: Built on my 19+ years of professional experience and success to drive the Marketing and Fundraising efforts of a 100 year old critical access hospital. As a member of the Hospital's senior leadership team, reported to the President & CEO, managed the hospital's Marketing, Communications, Community Relations and Fundraising efforts, and managed an annual budget of $300,000. Raised awareness of hospital programs and services through proactive Marketing strategies, and tripled annual giving dollars from $60,000 to $153,000+.
Developed blueprints for two major marketing initiatives: 100th Anniversary Campaign and a Campaign for Memorial Hospital`s Second Century; Maintained a weekly presence in community newspapers and on the Website; Used the results of a major Attitude and Awareness Study to help assess, develop, and execute winning marketing strategies; Introduced in-house TV programming in areas throughout the hospital including clinical waiting areas and patient rooms; Launched a formal Planned Gift program and engaged two senior gift officers to maximize major gift opportunities; Instituted fundraising seminars for members of the Board of Trustees; Launched online giving and Planned Giving pages on the Website; Created an ongoing series of CEO breakfast meetings with donors and local business and community leaders. Led 100th Anniversary committee. and an annual golf tournament (now in its 35th year) which raised $35,000, a first in the hospital's history. As part of a Second Century fundraising campaign, launched Memorial's first ever Legacy Gala (2012). Established grant writing teams to win a Susan G. Komen Breast Health award ($39,000 with the opportunity to apply for an additional two years for a possible total of $90,000), and a $250,000 Donaldson Charitable Trust grant proposal to expand the Hospital's Oncology services. Based on my record of fundraising success, we increased our annual fundraising goal from$100,00 to $450,000 (2013).
