Identifying and delivering solutions to challenging and critical issues, I met diverse organizational and business unit needs for both small and large companies. By implementing cutting edge features and quality designs, I achieved objectives in productivity enhancement and cost reduction, while minimizing risk.

- Developing and implementing system architectures, designs and requirements

- Managing high value projects, ensuring on time, under budget completion

- Adapting and communicating new concepts, ideas and techniques

- Assessing business needs, defining requirements and delivering solutions

- Providing optimal leadership and guidance in demanding environments

I hold an MS, Computer and Information Science and have studied the MS, Operations Research curriculum from the University of New Haven. My undergraduate degree is a BS, Technical Careers from Southern Illinois University. Certifications and courses include CISSP, CCENT, ITIL v3 Foundations 2011 and IT Project+ course.

Selected Accomplishments

Implemented enterprise calendaring and resource scheduling system. Casey Family Services executive team needed better coordinated schedules / time commitments. Developed automated meeting calendars with agendas, minutes, and action lists. Improved monitoring the progress of strategic plans and reduced resource conflicts.

Designed -Critical Incident Monitoring System-. Patient critical incident monitoring and follow up required significant management attention to meet prescribed response plans. Developed a highly effective system which provided a detailed recorded history of critical incident responses and case management.

Ensured e-mail was disaster tolerant. Developed a fault tolerant Enterprise e-mail system such that failure of administration's WAN or Internet link caused e-mail to automatically route over different circuits and mail servers. Protected Casey's enterprise e-mail from single point failure and used existing server features so $0 software cost.

Instituted effective backup system. Casey needed more reliable backup and restore than tape system enabled. Assessed other backup technologies, other tapes/drives, disk mirroring, online backup and other alternatives. Selected and implemented the system. Backups became 100% reliable and restores could be done in minutes.

Implemented remote management of IT solutions. Casey's remote offices did not have on-site technical personnel. Selected and deployed remote management solutions for servers and desktops, including remote power and video for the servers. Reduced time for repair from days to hours and enabled proactive maintenance.
