I have been an LPN since 12/2002. I am a good nurse and a hard worker. I care very deeply about my patients and am very passionate about my work. I enjoy interacting with people of all ages. I have worked in several different fields, all of them rewarding. I am currently looking for an overnight position or a position with the flexibility to work in the evening hours. I`d like to work between 24 and 40 hours a week. My pay rate requirement is $20/hr.

I have a reprimand on my license as a result of being reported to the Department of Professional Regulation by a family after I reported that family to DCFS. There are supposed to be laws in Illinois that protect mandated reporters from acts of retaliation. I slipped through the cracks. Part of a nurse's job is to communicate with other members of the healthcare team. The DPR website states the reason for my reprimand is `failed to desist in contacting therapists and doctors when ordered to do so by her supervisor`. I only contacted one therapist via email because she gave me permission to do so when I had questions and or concerns. My supervisor only told me to be careful when communicating with the therapist via email. My license is not restricted in any way by the reprimand.
