Disabled/Retired Vet, Need Work! (Bossier City/Shreveport)

WORK NEEDED. Disabled/Honorably Retired Vet in search of employment. 23 years of service in the Air Force, and seven years serving the state of Louisiana at Southern University's Aerospace Technology Division. Became disabled about 1 years ago and was unable to continue my duties (mechanic) for SUSLA. Not eligible for any government aid as I did not pay SS taxes while employed with the state. I am basically being told "thanks for your years of service, but to bad for ya" My disabilities are lung and back problems.

I am extremely mechanically inclined; mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical, troubleshooting, etc. I love restoration and working with wood. Many years of experience in supervision (up to 30 personnel). Managed Safety, Environmental, and Tool Control Programs for over 60 sights. Strong in communication skills; technical writing, chairing and facilitating briefing and meetings. Very detail oriented. My disabilities limit me, but I still can work very well with my hands, and my mind is still sharp.
