I graduated from the 107th session of the Border Patrol Academy July 31, 1975. I was stationed at Laredo, Texas as a Border Patrol Agent until 1982. I was responsible for enforcing Immigration and Nationality Laws of the United States and for apprehending violators of these laws. I developed an expertise in conducting enforcement activities such as linewatch, city patrol, signcutting, sensor response, transportation check, farm and ranch check and traffic check. I became accomplished in recognizing counterfeit and altered immigration documents, state and local birth registration documents and Social Security Cards. I became skilled in executing all forms relating to prosecution and deportation casework.
