Sourcing Manager (October 3, 2011 to July 13, 2012)

Responsible for leading four Aircraft Commodity Teams in identifying and growing new and / or existing strategic Global Electronics, Raw Materials, Metal Fab / Machining and Aircraft Interiors Supplier Partnerships, while negotiating the lowest total cost of ownership for the highest quality Piper Aircraft components and materials. Selected Contribution:

Achieved $1.6M in cost savings with Suppliers, during my first five months of employment as Sourcing Manager.

ROCKWELL COLLINS - Cedar Rapids, IA

Sr. Subcontracts Program Manager (May 18, 2009 to September 9, 2011)

Led the Subcontracting effort to establish the overall subcontract plan, proposal review criteria, analysis and evaluation of proposals. Plans and leads negotiations with suppliers.

Led the COMAC C919 Subcontracts Management Team in establishing cost saving negotiation strategies, material management and logistics for 3rd Party equipment requirements. Global Sourcing Manager (May 8, 2006 to March 1, 2009)

Oversee all Strategic Sourcing, Materials Management and Logistics for this designer and manufacturer of vehicle hardware products, with operations in the U.S., UK and China.

Lead team of 10 Purchasing professionals in sourcing commodities totaling $10 million annually, including raw materials, various detail parts, castings, assemblies and components from Asia, Europe and Mexico. Cooperate closely with tactical purchasing teams in the U.S., UK and China to ensure the timely delivery of commodities for door system products to include plastic injection molded handle parts and assemblies, precision machined detail metal components, hinges, latches, rods, lock assemblies, electronic components and other hardware. Served in Supply Management, Materials Management and Logistics capacity for the world's largest independent designer and manufacturer of energy-control solutions for aircraft and industrial engines and turbines.

Formally managed various machining Suppliers for Woodward Governor Company, while negotiating with and ensuring on-time Supplier deliveries of an estimated $20 million worth of industrial and aircraft fuel control components and machined parts per year from Eastern Europe, Asia and The Americas, to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction.

Negotiated as part of a team multiple strategic partnership agreements for General Electric and Pratt & Whitney aircraft engine fuel control products and Caterpillar legacy diesel fuel injection pumps manufactured by Woodward Governor Company -- programs that achieved $5 million in annual cost savings through the supplier assumption of tooling costs, annual deflationary pricing and the use of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
