Health: Good, completed physical in August 2012.

Marital status: married.

Presently: I am retired from Civil Service, 31 years combined military and government, and 6 years working for a Defense Contractor. I am working 2 days a week in our Community as a Security Guard. I live in a community about 6 miles Newfoundland, PA.

Previous experience: My last position was serving as a Contractor for Defense Support Services in Tobyhanna, PA, in Electronic maintenance and Customer support in support of an automated test system. I also served as a Team Leader. I worked with different departments such as shipping, receiving, and quality control. Before that, I was doing the same job for Army civil service at Tobyhanna. Before that I worked as a Bench mechanic doing disassembly and assembly. I have also worked for Diebold, Inc. as a Service person repairing banking equipment. I served 11 and 1/2 years in the US Army.

Education: Associate degree in electronics with the Cleveland Institute.

Skills: Electronic troubleshooting, reading schematics, precision soldering, ability to read the computer language used to run diagnostics on printer circuit cards, and work in a safe ESD environment. I kept an inventory of parts and kept an accurate storage of same. I was familiar with an office environment, using my computer skills, filing, correspondence, and ordering supplies.

Requirements: I met all the requirements of Safety, cleanliness or area, regulations, accountability, and discretion. I dealt with Customers having the same equipment at 4 other Sites, troubleshooting often by phone. Presently as a Security Guard, I welcome authorized guests to the Community, combining courtesy and security to permit only guest who have been called in by the property owners or are on a permanent allow list.

Other skills: Housekeeping, organization, and duties as assigned. Electrical and mechanical maintenance were part of maintaining the system that I worked on. It had mechanical probe that worked under program control. I replaced subassemblies, such as motors, fans, circuit cards, and power supplies.

Position desired: To work part time days or evenings serving in a position where dependability and reliability are important.
