PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

Estimating Lead Responsible for managing the estimating department, oversight and preparation of activity based estimates from

conceptual to bid level, for new construction, environment cleanup, and facility upgrades, infrastructure upgrades and major line item

projects. His department has prepared countless estimates for Deactivation and Decontamination (D&D), Demolition, Remedial

Action, and Waste Management projects. He also prepares estimates for major line item projects; evaluates requests for equitable

adjustments, change orders, value engineering, life cycle cost analysis, baseline studies and Independent Government Estimates.

Manager of Estimating Supervised estimators, project coordinators, engineers, programmers, technical writers, and

administrative personnel. Estimated building construction projects. Preformed liaison and coordination between other

departments, subcontractors, and customers regarding; estimates, scheduling, proposals, contract negotiations, contracts, bonding,

engineering, and construction.

Senior Estimator Developed general construction design-build and total bid project estimates, ranging from a few hundred

thousand to several million dollars using Timberline software. Upgraded the Timberline database, validated and corrected

equations, developed and enhanced assemblies, analyzed worker productivity rates and updated cost of materials.

Contract Development Performed design and constructability reviews of plans and technical specifications, corrected errors and

omissions, performed value-engineering studies, evaluated hazards and risks, prepared general, special conditions sections, and

assembled bid packages.

Construction Engineer Provided construction engineering inspection and oversight, verifying construction was performed in

accordance to the plans and specifications, on schedule and within budget assuring compliance with Safety and Health, and

Quality Assurance. Resolved change orders and developed corresponding Request for Proposals to implement change order

control through cost negotiations.

Estimator / Draftsman Completed estimates, design build drawing and assisted with other construction management activities

including, contract negotiations, procurement, planning and scheduling of turnkey construction projects
