Over 22 years experience in clerical and administrative functions. The past eight years as
the Office Administrator for Dr. William Harper and staff.
Proficient in the following areas: Management roles, banking, payroll, financial
reporting, billing, Human Resources including all aspects of employee benefits, hiring
and firing, payroll and all employee/employer laws. Computer Technology to include
Microsoft Office applications and databases including Excel, Word, Power Point, and
very internet savvy. Also well versed in additional business applications such as Medical
Manager, Imedica, MicroMD to name a few. Other experience in Electronic Medical
Records, knowledge of Clinical Research, Diagnostic Services, Profit Sharing Plans,
Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Patient Relations, Employee Relations, Liaison
with hospitals, building maintenance, Vendor Relations, Patient Education, and
Marketing.
I received my Certified Medical Office Manager certification in Amelia Island Florida,
from the Medical Management Institute. I am a member of Columbus Regional Toast
Masters Club, Georgia Medical Management Association, West Georgia Medical
Management Association local here in Columbus, and the Columbus Employers
Committee with the Georgia Department of Labor.

In 1982, I began working for Dr. Harper part-time as an Accounts Payable clerk working my
way through every position quickly within the practice to eventually become the Office Manager
for six years and the Administrator for the last eight years.
My most valuable assets include an uplifting and vital personality, my tremendous ability as a
people person, and of course, management experience. I have developed and maintain various
medical community relationships over these twenty two years. I am a person of high integrity
and have a work ethic that is hard to find, always going above and beyond what is expected of
me. Patients adore me and staff admire and respected me at the same time. I believe the best
way to a great doctor, is through a great staff and I always took great pride in hiring and
maintaining a wonderful staff.
Personal
I am happily married of 26 years, and I have one daughter who is a senior at Harris County High
School.
My hobbies include my golden retrievers, photography and deer hunting. I am a member of
Trophy Hunting Club in Butler, Ga.
I consider myself to be very outgoing, young at heart, and very dedicated to all that I do.
