sustainability policies.

Served as the primary intern in the private office of Former Vice-President Gore.

to alumni and university leaders.

Students Promoting Environmental Awareness and Recycling - Vice President, Fall 2004-present

Oversee student group responsible for campus-wide environmental efforts.

Past successes: worked with University administration to achieve LEED certification of new buildings,

appointment of full-time sustainability coordinator, and implementation of residential recycling.

Current projects: development of faculty/staff coalition, environmental guide for incoming freshmen, speaker

series, expanded recycling program and funding.

Students For Kenya - Public Relations Chair, Spring 2007-present

Recruited to chair the group s event-planning and subsequent campus and citywide publicity and

communications, specifically the annual benefit funding community development and primary healthcare in

Lwala, Kenya (raised $25,000 in 2007).

Raised money in the Nashville community for annual 14 -hour benefit for the Vanderbilt Children s Hospital.
