Reported to the Clinton Global Initiative s CEO, assisting with all aspects of planning for the non -partisan

international conference. Coordinated correspondence and scheduling on a daily basis.

Responsible for major research projects including organizational metrics, private sector philanthropy, and

2007 conference events.

Developed and implemented office-wide greening procedures and educational programming regarding

sustainability policies.

Office of the Honorable Al and Tipper Gore Nashville, TN

Intern, Summers 2005 and 2006

Served as the primary intern in the private office of Former Vice-President Gore.

In 2005, managed administrative and organizational projects for office leadership.

In 2006, accepted additional responsibility with research and analysis for the development of The Climate

Project (affiliated environmental education non-profit) regarding materials and environmental grant making as

well as event planning for An Inconvenient Truth premieres.

ACTIVITIES Vanderbilt Senior Class Fund 2008 - Chair, Spring 2007-present

Nominated to direct fundraising efforts for the senior class gift.

Seek to exceed previous Vanderbilt senior cla ss record by 50 percent.

Recruit and manage student committees, organize fundraising campaigns and events, present plans and targets

to alumni and university leaders.

Students Promoting Environmental Awareness and Recycling - Vice President, Fall 2004-present

Oversee student group responsible for campus-wide environmental efforts.

Past successes: worked with University administration to achieve LEED certification of new buildings,

appointment of full-time sustainability coordinator, and implementation of residential recycling.

Current projects: development of faculty/staff coalition, environmental guide for incoming freshmen, speaker

series, expanded recycling program and funding.

Students For Kenya - Public Relations Chair, Spring 2007-present

Recruited to chair the group s event-planning and subsequent campus and citywide publicity and

communications, specifically the annual benefit funding community development and primary healthcare in

Lwala, Kenya (raised $25,000 in 2007).

Vanderbilt Dance Marathon - Fundraiser, 2006, 2007

Raised money in the Nashville community for annual 14 -hour benefit for the Vanderbilt Children s Hospital.

Ecole Maternelle Rochers du Dragon Tutor, Fall 2006

Taught English to French children on a weekly basis while abroad in Aix -en-Provence, France.

Named Program Ambassador by Vanderbilt-in-France for volunteer work and academic excellence.
