As the webmaster I developed and designed web pages for the Fort Sill Morale, Welfare and Recreation
(MWR) website to ensure an engaging and effective visitor experience. I promoted events and programs on
Fort Sill by developing advertising specific to the market which included developing web pages, email
campaigns, facebook, flickr, twitter and linking to third party sites. I developed audio, video, and animation
used for the web and on-site promotional events. I maintained and monitored the web forum. I
implemented search engine optimization strategies to increase web site functionality and developed an opt-
in database to develop marketing strategies for target audiences. I developed surveys and analyzed data
and Google statistics to identify what programs needed to be advertised and enhanced and the
effectiveness of the web site. I served as the resource for Fort Sill leadership in use of the website to support
the mission, goals, and objectives and monitor legal and security concerns related to use of the Internet and
web presence based on Garrison Commander s directives and Army Regulation 25 1. I monitored customer
satisfaction and insured responsiveness to web inquiries and I assisted in hiring marketing personnel.

I developed the American Citizen Services (ACS) Emergency Notification System database to communicate
with over 60,000 U.S. citizens living abroad. I held a Secret Security Clearance and reviewed and distributed

Foreign Service National employee cross-training program in preparation for emergency operations during
the 2004 Olympics. Designed the U.S. State Department Athens 2004 Olympic Commemorative Pin, and

I developed marketing campaigns and designed visual media such as magazine advertisements, posters,
billboards, websites, and computer graphics to promote events and services on Fort Sill. These campaigns
ranged from promoting the local club system to promoting the National Army Entertainment Concert Series
headlining national talents like Reba McEntire and Wille Nelson. Collaborated with Activity Managers in the
development of promotions to better support the military community and enhance the image of Fort Sill
and the MWR program. As the web master I developed the first Fort Sill Morale, Welfare and Recreation
(MWR) Army web site in 1995 and have redesigned it to incorporate new technologies such as Google
Analytics, Cascading Style Sheets and Flash Animation.
