Responsible for all operations at the warehouse to ensure our customers needs are met on a daily basis. Inbound/Outbound Operations for our customer are the primary function. Responsibilities also include that the Income and Expense statements are up to date, budgeting, hiring, Lean initiatives, and payroll completed on a weekly basis. Customer demands expectations continually evolve. Drive Quality assurance from a detailed QPR initiative where root-cause and counter-measures play a key role in identifying breakdowns. Regulatory compliance crucial in the shipment and receipt of potential Hazmat material.

Led both the Order-filling and Sortation Functions through 2 successful peaks at the center. Worked directly with operational partners to ensure the consistent flow of freight through the DC. Tasked with co-leading the 2011 heat safety plan to help combat the extremely hot temperatures at TUL1. The program was a huge success with associates and a decrease in heat related incidents within the DC by 24%. Participated in a Pack Complete Kaizen event off-site before the implementation at our location. Validated substantial cost savings from the previous processes in place.
