ESL, Japanese, Chinese Tutor (Boulder)

I have taught English as a second language on either a full-time or part-time basis for more than 20 years in Japan, Taiwan and China. I have experience teaching young children on up to adults. I have taught in a variety of settings, from one-on-one classes with children or adults at home or in a language school, to large classes at elementary and high schools, as well as English courses at businesses and hotels.

My teaching motto is to "make language learning fun and alive," so that the student will want to learn, as I believe if the student has a sincere desire to learn, then he or she will be motivated to study hard and as a result will make quick and solid progress.

I have experience teaching Japanese in one-on-one classes as well as to group classes of either children or adults.

With a background in the Japanese and Chinese languages, and over 20 years of working and communicating in both languages, I can not only coach you through your language course, but I can also teach you the customs and practices that are essential in business or study abroad.
