Summary: I am a 39 year old father of two teenagers, married 17 years. I am a very open minded and self-motivated individual. I am hard working, I believe in perfect attendance in your workplace, and I am a very quick learner. I have approx 12-15 year's exp. in forklift operations, including sit-down, stand-up, reach, cherry picker, clamp, and pull behind. I am aware that you are to be certified at each job, I do have my certification from my most recent employer. I have worked in the shipping and receiving departments, having at least 10 yrs. Exp. I have experience in stamping press operations, forging press, ranging in sizes of press from 16 ton to 6000 ton in both areas. I have 2yrs. Exp. With overhead crane operations, lifting 30k lb. coils of steel, dies for stamping press, steel stock, and angle iron. I also have experience in the sales industry. I have 3 years exp. as a sales manager in the retail sales area. I have 5 years exp. in shipping /receiving, responsible for employees loading/unloading, receiving, and responsible for creating the manifests for orders. Working with Microsoft programs; excel, word, office, and power point. I also have experience with r/f scanners, and barcode scanners, communicating with trucking companies to schedule pick-ups, and deliveries. Checking trailers to verify proper paper work, loading, tie-offs. Sealing trailers and moving the trailers with company semi to lot to wait on pick-up. Overall I believe I will be a good asset to your company because I strive to be the best at what I am doing, and teach others to do the same.
