homeowners associations in the five-county Philadelphia region. A home inspection is an objective
visual examination and report of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the
foundation.
Skilled carpenter. Rough and finish carpentry sub-contractor for custom residential construction,
renovation and addition. Prime contractor for renovation and addition projects, including supervision of
all trades.
Oversight of $2.7 million building renovation converting an historic stables into a modern environmental
education center.

of home furnishings specialty store.
1988-1992 First President, Unfinished Furniture Association. Led effort to organize a
fractionalized industry into national association of retailers, manufacturers and sales
representatives. Chaired first national convention for the industry with nearly 2000 attendees.
1993-1998 Chief of Staff, Senate of Pennsylvania. Management of staff in Capitol and District
offices and overall operation of political, legislative, constituent service, public relations,
communications, research and outreach programs for Chairman of Senate Public Health and Welfare
committee and Philadelphia Delegation chair.
1998-1999 Senior Staff Advisor, Senate of Pennsylvania. Advisor to freshman member and staff.
Primary responsibility for public relations and promotion.

operational environmental education center; installation of appropriate financial safeguards and
accountability. Engaged board of directors in full-term strategic planning process. Oversight of $2.7
million building renovation. Negotiated long-term license agreement with City of Philadelphia.
