NURSING EXPERIENCE
University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH 2010 present
Lecturer Department of Nursing Clinical instructor for 21 sophomore and junior students at a long
term nursing facility and a medical surgical unit. Teach basic nursing care, activities of daily living,
basic nursing assessments and communication. Also teach head-to-toe patient assessments, wound
care, safe medication administration and patient documentation. Additionally develop teaching plans
and scenario development for simulation laboratory skills instruction.

primary RN for 9-15 inpatient admissions per week.
Develop and present education experiences at monthly staff meetings and to each shift when
new procedures and equipment are implemented.
Function as charge nurse 30 percent of time.
Supervise ER medical tech and serves as preceptor to new nurses and nursing students 10
percent of the time.
Designed an ER physician order form. This was implemented to increase order clarity and
reduce errors.
Advocated for use of patient wristbands for identification to promote safety in ED. Currently
