Jeffrey Dann has been an educator and community health practitioner for 40 years.
He is a faculty instructor for Japanese Acupuncture and Manual Medicine for the

A respected national and internationally known Acupuncture teacher, he has presented at
national bodywork and acupuncture conventions as has been teaching Japanese
Acupuncture to the Turkish Medical Acupuncture Association since 2002.
Besides professional teaching, Jeffrey has been a community teacher is youth and young
adult body-mind movement work for over 25 years. He was the dojo master of the Pahoa
Kendo Kai, the only non Japanese dojo master among the Hawaiian Japanese American
community.
In Boulder for the past 10 years he has been involved in the body-mind experiences of
dance, movement, and somatic psychology. He is a senior staff instructor, and dance
community doctor, in the intensive international young adult rites of passage work of
Melissa Michaels Surfing the Creative Foundation. (www.goldenbridge.org) He has
worked with men and young adults in exploring mind-body and emotion through dance
and movement. He is a Core Facilitator for the Boulder Contact Improv Labs.
