* After growing rapidly for two years, the company was beginning to face headwinds due to commoditization of products and aggressiveness of new entrants. Quickly setup lead generation and marketing process by re-positioning the unique value proposition towards high-growth, high-value added areas such as mobile learning, virtual learning, gamification, etc. Developed strategic partnership models for leveraging cross-organizational contacts, technologies, and product lines with partners. Helped the promoters to visualize and evaluate new business models with upsell & cross-sell opportunities for growth with existing and start-up companies in niche products and technologies.

Sify Software Services, San Jose, CA (Director of Sales/Account Management) 2009-2011

This is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sify Technologies Ltd., India`s premier Internet technologies company.

* The 2008 recession threw the digital learning business into intense competition and commoditization, making capture of new customers difficult. Identified growth areas in the emerging economy and developed a multi-year revenue-share partnerships with diverse groups of strategic partners in Higher Education & Renewable Energy. Sify eLearning Services, India (General Manager of Ops/Account Management) 2006-2008

This was a Strategic Business Unit of Sify Technologies Ltd.

* Immediately after taking charge discovered that the business was in turmoil with customers threatening to terminate contracts. Focused attention to resolve most important customer issues, giving project leaders authority and resources to make decisions with impunity, and establishing effective internal and external performance metrics. Reorganized the 250-member project teams into a dynamic matrix organization of industry verticals and functional horizontals. In just months, the business was transformed into a confident, customer-facing organization, focused on excellence and growth. Improved resource utilization by 25%, project profitability by 10%, reduced attrition by 25%. GE Process Solutions, Danbury, CT, (Asst. Vice President) 2003-2006

GE Process Solutions was the US arm of Genpact, the biggest BPO in India that was earlier spun-off by GE.

* Transferred to GE Commercial Finance (a $48B business) to manage and grow business engagements through proactive and strategic account management by developing relationships and program managing path-breaking solutions to persistent problems in the areas of organizational learning and business results.
