Received recognition as 2011 Connecticut Science Supervisor of the Year.

Leader of science department and member of leadership for large urban school district of over fifty schools and 20,000 students.

Responsible for curricular coordination, CAPT and CMT prep, instructional coaching, managing district budget and resources, hiring,

data analysis, school design, professional development, grant writing and implementation. Work with a variety of state and local

partners. Serve on district wide committees and work with principals, leaders, directors and a variety of stakeholders to improve

science learning for all students. Key accomplishments in NHPS reform initiative include work on 21st century rubrics as well as high

school, college/career readiness. Member of District Leadership and District Data Team, trained in and monitor CALI Intiatives:

Effective Teaching, Data Teams, Formative Assessment, Response To Intervention. Trained as a Cambridge Supervisor, and head up

Led intensive PIMMS summer programs for K-12 CT teachers, emphasizing technology in the classroom. Taught teachers

cycle model, along with performance based assessments.

Taught an enriching program of math and science courses. Revised curriculum for ninth grade Earth Science. Coordinated

role in rewriting middle to high school math sequences.
