Experienced Tutor-Composition, Literature, Social Studies, ESL (South Lexington)

For 25+ years I've taught middle, high school, and college students composition and literature. I have a B.A. and M.A. in English and a Rank I in education. I served as Language Arts Consultant and Speech Writer for the Kentucky Department of Education, and I was a Fulbright Scholar. I am a personable woman with a great sense of humor and have always had excellent rapport with students.

In addition to empowering students to learn how to learn, I motivate students to be self-starting life-long learners, and help them unlock roadblocks to unleashing their full potential. I have a track record of success tutoring students in literature, composition, social studies, and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Teaching Location: My south Lexington home, student's home, student's school, or public library.

Hourly Rate: $30-$40
