I would like to start by explaining why I am looking for a career change at this point in my life. I am a 45 year old man in excellent health and I feel like it is not too late to start using the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the years toward a more satisfying career. I want to help people by fixing their problems without the hassle of operating a business. I have all the necessary tools and my own transportation. I know that given the chance I would make someone an excellent maintenance man. I have developed the leadership skills and motivational techniques to be a maintenance supervisor if such a position were available. I excel at applying common sense problem solving techniques to any applicable situation but have the skills necessary to research possible countermeasures when needed.
