I worked with 3 other summer help employees, along with the 2 full time maintenance workers to provide upkeep for the St. Joseph s University owned student apartment complex.I personally attended to over 100 rooms and prepared them for the end of the summer, such as painting, moving furniture, installing AC units, etc.

I assisted Mr. John Maki in a landscaping project that completely revamped the look and layout of his property.I did much solitary work, such as shoveling dirt, moving trees and flowers, watering plants, laying sod, etc.I also did cooperative work with Mr. Maki, such as planting the trees and flowers in their desired location.I also laid down the foundation for a new driveway in his backyard.

I worked at the deli and provided customers with freshly sliced lunchmeat, cheeses, and other foods.I operated deli slicers on a daily basis in a safe manner and I took a variety of different food orders.I made custom sandwiches for customers and also handled other custom meal orders.I took inventory for the deli on many occasions and made sure all of our supplies were always stocked and ready for use.

Landscaper

Summer 2006-08

I worked as part of the landscaping crew for the Springfield School District.My daily routine would consist of mowing grass, weedwacking, and picking up trash, planting trees, mulching, and other similar tasks for the properties owned by the district.I also helped on some more involved work, such as installing sprinkler systems on a soccer field, netting soccer and lacrosse goals, and also painting lines for football, soccer, and field hockey fields.Along with the other landscapers, we also handled complaints from residents living next to the district owned properties, such as getting rid of poison ivy, planting trees to provide privacy next to sports fields, etc.
