F lorence Reed
President & Founder
Sustainable Harvest International
Serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama from 1991-1993 fueled my desire to
dedicate my career to assisting people in impoverished countries while preserving our

planet. The experience also honed my entrepreneurial nature and developed my
interpersonal skills, as I worked with a diverse group of people to find creative solutions to

global challenges.
207-***-**** As the President and Founder of Sustainable Harvest International, I have grown the
***@******************.*** organization from one working with only a dozen families to one that has worked with
1,439 active and graduate families in four Central American countries to plant nearly 3
million trees, convert 14,000 acres of degraded land to sustainable farms and save an
estimated 70,000 acres of tropical forest from slash and burn destruction.
