Provide counseling and support to coaches and athletes in the areas of: Mental skills training for performance enhancement; motivation and goal setting; visualization and performance planning; self-regulation skills for controlling anxiety; individualized cognitive-behavioral strategies for improving confidence, concentration, composure, and mental toughness; leadership, group cohesion, and championship team building; communication skills; interpersonal relationships; respecting and appreciating diversity; handling multiple demands and stress effectively; and in general, issues revolving around life skill development and student-athlete welfare.
