CAE Inc. – Director, Business Development/Sales

Hired to establish strategic alliances with targeted partners including a key European airframe manufacturer, to restructure the worldwide product sales strategy and strengthen the company’s new product development and implementation activities. The company underwent un-paralleled growth and market dominance during my tenure.

National Transcription Service Inc. - President and Managing Partner (Full P&L)

Developed, launched and managed an pioneering medical record transcription company based on (then) emerging digital technologies. NTS competed successfully in the US medical records market and enjoyed an exclusive position within the nascent Canadian healthcare records management marketplace until its sale in 1996. The company continues to grow and prosper to this day.

AlliedSignal Canada Inc. - Director, Public and Government Relations (shared P&L)

Recruited to realign/right-size the public and government relations groups following the merger of two former competitors. Directed public & government relations for automotive, chemical and aerospace sectors in Canada and managed all special projects as well as government R&D funding programs.

CAE Electronics Ltd. - Manager of Contracts

Recruited to assume this newly created position based on demonstrated negotiation and program management skills to address needs of this rapidly growing company. Additional responsibilities included managing government programs, international distribution channels/agencies and strategic planning.
