Responsibilities:

Accurately track and maintain the clinical systems of the trial and check to see whether project timelines and track site compliance is being met as set forth in the protocol by the GlaxoSmithKline (Sponsor).Ensure that S.O.Ps (standard operating procedures) are being met during the trial.Supervise the staff involved in the trial and ensure that protocol is being maintained.Plan, schedule & supervise site functions.Recording, extraction & maintenance of patient’s data, accurately & according to the protocol set forth for ALTTO Trial.Tracking and managing the CRF’s, clinical data flow and other queries of the trial.Prepare, handle, distribute, file, and archive the clinical documentation including P.I, IRB & Sponsor correspondence & other administrative data of the trial.Assist in analyzing and interpreting the data for the trial.Reporting to the P.I regarding patient’s status, trial progress, safety and administrative issues.Strong central role in communication & correspondence among P.I, IRB/ERC & Sponsor.Fill out all the safety and regulatory paperwork required for the trial and make sure that they get submitted to the appropriate agencies and boards within the prescribed timelines with much emphasis on SAE reporting and follow-ups.Assist the P.I in screening the prospective candidates for the trial.Take consent from patients and ensuring that they understand all the conditions set forth in the consent form.Supervise & perform drug administration to patients on their treatment visits.History taking, physical examination, understand patient’s complains, write minor prescriptions.Patient follow-ups for scheduled visits, complaints and compliance.Obtain tissue and bloods samples as and when necessary and collect information through interviews, questionnaires, test results and charts.Drug dispensing, dosing, storage & accountability of receiving, usage & return.Oversee the financial issues of the site: data archiving, audit & management of payment of dues, receiving including patients visit allowances, A.E/S.A.E compensations, site-hospital, laboratory, currier payments and other financial mattersCoordinate with & facilitate the Trial Monitors in their visits of the site.Facilitate the Site Inspection Visits.
