2/93-8/97 Sales Representative - Burhans-Sharpe Sales, Inc., Seattle, WA.

Outside sales position serving industrial, government accounts, and engineering firms for local Manufacturer's Representative and Distributor of mechanical and process equipment product lines. Served as Product Manager for process filtration products and became leading producer for sales of capital equipment. Sold filter press and related equipment for one project totaling over $300K.

Development of Pacific Northwest territory with new equipment and software packages for data collection and mapping. Goal was to gain professional outside sales experience.

2/81-3/83 Senior Civil Engineer - R.W. Beck & Associates, Seattle, WA .

Performed design and related calculations and planning with major engineering firm as a civil engineer. Work for municipal clients included earthwork, concrete and steel design, cost estimates, and technical reports. Experience included field engineering work for earth-fill dam project in Snohomish County, Washington supervising contractor activities and inspecting road-work and concrete construction for dam and spillway facilities.
