Operations Technician I

Producer/Director/Technical Director

I produced, directed, and technical directed live productions for ArkansasRazorbacks.com. I was

in charge of a pre-game show for home football games, as well as volleyball, softball and soccer

games. I had to maintain a staff and ensure the broadcasts were seamless. I also worked with

ESPNU Campus Connections and many other production companies as AD and camera.

Media Operations Intern

It was my responsibility to quality check incoming feeds to ESPN for audio and video problems.

I communicated to transmission to make sure those problems were addressed. Attention to

detail was important; as I made sure the video feeds were being ingested to the servers. I also

observed, multiple times, the Associate Director position during broadcasts of SportsCenter.

May 2010-May 2011 UATV

Station Manager

I oversaw all parts of UATV. I was in charge of selecting a staff and assigning goals. I dealt with

station decisions and I handled complaints from staff. I made sure that UATV continually grew

and advanced by overseeing studio upgrades and new digital channel acquisition.

August 2009-May 2010 UATV

Assistant Station Manager

I was the second in command behind the Station Manager. I made sure that we continued to put

on quality broadcasts and oversaw staff.

May 2009-November 2009 KHOG 40/29 (Rogers, AR)

Sports Intern

I worked with the 40/29 Sports Department. I shot and edited for the nightly newscast and the

30-minute sports show on Sunday nights. I interviewed many college and professional athletes

and shot everything from a rodeo to minor league baseball games.

August 2008-May 2009 UATV

Programming Director

I was responsible for updating and creating the 24-hour replay schedule for UATV. I would make

sure the files were in the system and input new files to air on UATV. I created the standard

schedule we use today.

Technical Director/Volunteer/Anchor/Reporter

I was responsible for the technical aspects of many live and pre-produced shows. I also worked

cameras, prompter, video playback, audio and graphics for UATV. I also provided content for

newscast on UATV. I wrote stories, conducted interviews, shot, edited and produced packages. I

anchored live for the nightly news and hosted a live sports call-in show. I also shot and edited

video from numerous NCAA sporting events.
