PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I commenced a career in the film industry in 1983 as an in house production assistant for Feldman Cornell Film Productions

(South Africa). I participated in technical workshops and courses, with SAFTTA (South African Film and Television

Technicians Association). These included courses in production management, editing, lighting, grip techniques, aspects of

16mm and 35mm cameras and several video cameras.

I have been 1st Assistant Director since 1986 on numerous advertising commercials and feature films. Since 2006 I have been

Line Producer on several projects.

Over the years I have carried out much location scouting for various production companies and directors.

My many years of experience shooting in different countries through out the world has helped me understand the specific

shooting and logistics requirements often unique to each country and the specific requirements of film making when looking

for a suitable location.

I have a good experience in car commercials and I have sound knowledge of the logistics and safety requirements needed for

car shoots. Over the years I have done a lot of helicopter to car aerials, worked several times with the Russian arm on and off

the race track, co-ordinated and controlled major road lock offs with and without road police security and escort and worked

in every possible classic tracking vehicle configuration in numerous countries.

I have worked in South Africa, France, England, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Romania, Canada, Morocco, Mexico,

Cuba, Ireland, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Egypt, UAE, and Mozambique,
