As a Japan Liaison, was in charge of localization and marketing of software for Japanese market. (The software was in financial industry, especially related to payment card industry.) Helped with QA of (Japanese version of) software as well as translation of GUI strings, user manuals and marketing materials into Japanese. I also served as our live-in interpreter whenever we visited Japan with people from our US office for user conferences and client visits. Most of the time translation was sequential. However, when needed, I did simultaneous translations also.
