Child Advocates of Placer County - Child Mentor- Auburn, CA (February 2012 - Current)
I am a registered A2Y mentor for the Placer County Court System - Juvenile Division. The mentor program works with -at risk- children establishing a relationship of trust and confidentiality over time. I had 30 hours of extensive training on how to handle -at risk- children and their parents or guardians. All mentors have to pass a detailed back ground check.
Results - I am currently mentoring a 9 year old boy who doesn`t have a male figure in his life. We meet 2 or 3 hours every week and we both signed at least a I year commitment that will more likely go on for many years to come. The mentor program is extremely rewarding knowing that you are goal setting with your mentee to develop a solid foundation for their future planning and organization. It does make a difference.
Alta Properties/ Pinn Bros Fine Homes - New Home Sales Associate - San Jose, CA (2008 - 2010)
Sold a townhouse community of homes ranging in size from 1150sf to 1850sf in San Jose, CA. I was responsible for guiding the sales process in its entirety, including demonstrating and selling the home to loan application, option selections, and closing.
Results - Met sales goals under an extremely difficult economic environment and with a builder that was experiencing serious financial difficulties. Had to overcome several mechanics liens with each sale in order to get clear title to the property.
