Communications NCO
As a Communications NCO, provided technical solutions to questions concerning trouble shooting, patch downloads, translations and other switch related problems. Supported homeland defense in the National Capital Region. Responsible for researching effective means of satellite communications while in the field, and organizing installation, maintenance and operation of said communications while in the field. Coordinated and managed communication between the 9/11 Technical Rescue Company and several federal emergency organization, including FEMA and the DC Urban Search and Rescue.

As a communications specialist for the 1st Battalion 39th Field Artillery, Bravo Company my duties consisted of installation, maintenance, and provided technical support for more than 25 Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below tracking systems and more than 50 Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio systems. Trained over 100 U.S. Army personnel on policies, procedures and standards of operation for communication equipment.
