1. MIS for MBAs/MS - a graduate course covering principles
and practices of information systems from a strategic perspective.
2. Cooperative Information Systems - a graduate course
in computer networks and client-server technologies.
3. Web-based MIS for Executive MBAs/MS - a graduate course
covering principles and practices of information systems from a strategic perspective
(this was the first distance learning course at Clarkson).
4. Workgroup Information Systems - an undergraduate course
in computer networks and telecommunications.
5. Information Systems in Organizations - an undergraduate
course in principles and practices of information systems.
6. Independent study: developed an independent study for
an undergraduate student in the area of Marketing Information Systems.
7. Project courses: MIS project courses for three MS - MIS
students. Two of them are working on a project involving Web-based supply chains
and the third one is working on the topic of economic justification of ERP and
other information systems.
Administrative
1. Chair of the SAP University Alliance Committee - worked
closely with the Dean, SAP, and CUSB faculty to help the university join the
SAP's University alliance program and introduced SAP's R/3 software in the MBA
MIS curriculum.
2. Member, University committee on the implementation of
a new MS in IT program at Clarkson.
3. Member of the MBA committee of the Clarskon School of

WORK EXPERIENCE
Graduate Research Assistant, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,
September 1991 - 1997
1. Taught MIS courses and labs. Created and maintained a
virtual laboratory for on-line instructions to students taking MIS courses.
Participated in the following research programs:
Computer Integrated Manufacturing Program (Sponsors: IBM,
DEC, GE, GM, and Alcoa).
Adaptive Integrated Manufacturing Enterprise Program (Sponsors:
NSF and an industrial consortium).
Manufacturing Information Systems (Sponsor: U.S. Army).
Metadatabase Project (Sponsor: Samsung).
Particular Assignments and Achievements:
1. Developed a methodology for developing Enterprise Internet
plans and employed it to develop a plan for the Samsung Heavy Industries' Web
information system.
2. Developed strategic planning methodology for CIM systems
and financialjustification for flexible manufacturing systems.
3. Created and maintained the web site for Metadatabase
Research Group at Rensselaer (URL: http://viu.eng.rpi.edu/). This web site allows
download of the CASE-tool IBMS which is used for research and instruction the
world over.
4. Provided technical support to the users of the CASE-tool
IBMS.

1. Joined the bank as a Probationary Officer and
was performed all the routine banking operations.
2. Performed branch management functions at two branches.
3. Worked in the Industrial Relations department of the
bank at its central office in Bombay. Assisted in negotiations with employees
unions and formulation of welfare policies for the entire bank. Was involved
in negotiating a large-scale computerization project.
