Sr. Electronics Engineer

* LV Circuit Design & Development for new production line Automotive HVAC test equipment from concept through to launch.

* Design and develop electrical schematics (digital and analog) related to development of complex new products for the automotive Industry.

* Perform Software code development for Data Acquisition systems

* Designer of printed circuit boards for embedded microcomputer systems for real time interfacing.

* Designer of Automotive prototype to production wire harnesses including wiring diagrams,

and schematics, detailing connections to interface definitions.

* Carries out engineering solutions and designs in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements and project specifications

* Responsible for saving company over 7.5 million dollars on GMT370, GMT191, and GMT345 front HVAC controls, due to finding low cost digital drive controller chip.

* Received Patent for -Actuator Fault Detection Circuit- used to prevent HVAC controls from over driving HVAC Doors into a breaking condition.

Electronics Engineer

* Electronics Hardware Engineer for the development of military and commercial electro/mechanical scanners and DC brushless drive controllers.

* Designed and built automated electronic diagnostic equipment to test new products.

* Circuit Design and fabrication of the following:

1) DC brushless (CL/OL) Motor controllers using PLL and servo speed control electronics, Used for the purposes of 100% specification acceptance testing of military high speed laser tactical recording systems-Spook guidance& tasking.

2) Long-lasting heavy duty, one-of-a-kind electrical drive diagnostic controllers used for in-house testing of pre-press products.

3) Circuit boards/Stack Strata & Ribbons using SMT and through-hole technologies to 27 layers.

4) Wiring harnesses - Fiber Optic, Coax, Ribbon, RF wireless, Microwave, CAT3 Standards for stealth weaponry, Standard commercial.

* Maintain an orderly inventory of all components needed by the skunk works department.

* Serve as technical resource for production management, and development engineering.

1) Train personnel in the set-up of electro/optical test equipment, and Optical set-ups for laser positioning testing.

2) Write technical documents & procedures unique to company products.

3) Develop color-coded detailed diagrams describing how connectors should be wired for appropriate products and how circuit cards may be modified for specific applications.

4) Use of CAD to illustrate how wire harnesses are assembled.
